Firstly hello and hope you are well and staying safe!
So, to my issue...
I have installed a bunch of mods (FTB ones to be exact) and I have also downloaded a custom map from here at Planet Minecraft.
My issue is when I load into the world and begin mining, I can not find any of the Ores from the mods I have installed.
Can I fix this?
Am I just unlucky I am not finding ores?
Am I an idiot?

the mods don't load ores in unless it's a new world being generated. You'd need to manually put the ores in if you wanted them.
