FTB SCREEN UPSIDE DOWN [Reward = Mc account]
Okay soo.. Ive been trying to make ftb work with mac for over 3 months and i finally did it but the screen is upside down ANYONE HO CAN HELP WILL BE REWARDED A MC ACCOUNT!!

okay for a start uninstall it all. Note down what you did to make it work.
now re-download the launcher .jar and place it on your desktop as FTB.jar
*This will not work unless it is called exactly this ^^
Read these instructions very carefully and follow them fully okay? good here you are:
1 open text edit
2 format and make plain text
3 paste this:
cd Desktop
export JAVA_HOME=/System/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/1.6.0.jdk/Contents/Home
java -jar FTB.jar
4 save that as FTB.command to your desktop
5 now open terminal, dont worry if you dont know how terminal works, just type this, otherwise it wont work.
6 in terminal type: chmod a+x
^make sure that there is a space after all that and dont press enter yet^
7 Remember that .command file you saved to your desktop? now you drag it into the terminal window.
8 NOW you press enter.
hopefully that should work, if you want to rig up the tekkit launcher the same way, have a fiddle with that .command file and see if you can figure it out, if not then msg me on here. if this dont work then post exactly what you did, step by step, on this thread okay?

It depends on the mac, and the mac software, about 1 year ago apple sent out a java update for certain macs and versions of OSX. it improved something but really screwed up the tekkit and FTB launchers. so i went and found a way to basically jump start the application. there are other ways of doing it but this is the hardest to break.

Noob, if you knew anything about mac's then you'd knows it would be a simple job to duel boot your mac with windows on a partition. like me, so wheres your sarky comments now? yet another example of a windows user not doing their homework and then saying shit on the intenet...

Try installing Wine and running the PC edition through there.
I was trying to say that you are not going to give away a minecraft account just because someone gives you some advice on how to get feed the beast working. As I feel bad and I don't want to pass as a troll, I will give you some honest advice.
1. Try updating your Java.
2. On FTB options have a look around and try to configure that.

Actually I think I have just found a fix. Open the FTB launcher, and go to the options tab. On the middle of the screen click 'Advanced Options'. On minecraft window position change whatever you have to 0 x 0. (Not the window size!)
