I'm using a GTX 770 and a 4770k. I've reinstalled minecraft and tried all the nVidia drivers up to this point. I don't want someone telling me to just use windowed mode (which is what I've found all over the internet) because that's not how you fix a problem.

I know its been some time, but I may have found the solution.
Hi I had the same problem and i started looking around the internet.
I seem to have found out that the problem is something related to non-proper installation of nvidia drivers and openGL. I updated to win 10 and haven't reinstalled the nvidia driver I have updated the driver multiple times and the problem was still there. So I completely uninstalled my driver restarted my pc then installed it back on.
It seems to work now but I only found out because it was also causing a problem with an other game.

Summary:
Nvidia drivers are causing a problem where openGL is not working properly.

Fix:
1. Uninstall all Nvidida drivers
2. Restart PC
3. Reinstall all drivers (for this I recommend GeForce Experience:http://www.geforce.co.uk/geforce-experience/download)

Well, according to the error message, there was no OpenGL context found.
Minecraft told it to render something but didn't tell it what.

I'm guessing that this is caused by the extra space created when transitioning from windowed to fullscreen mode.

Try updating to Java 8.

Remove options.txt from the .minecraft folder (Don't delete it save it to your desktop) then start up minecraft again.

(Btw the headphones came yesterday and there AMAZING the right amount of everything , thanks alot)

I found this. It's not crashing because of fullscreen, but it has some similarities in the error.

Haha, I had the exact same problem... I'll walk you through how to get it out...

1. Click the start button on the bottom-left corner.
2. Type in %appdata% and click the "Roaming" file.
3. Look in your "Roaming" file until you find .minecraft, and click that.
4. Scroll in the .minecraft file until you see "options".
5. You'll want to click "options", and scroll down until you see "Fullscreen:true"
6. Change "Fullscreen:true" to "Fullscreen:false".

I had the exact same problem... Hope this helped!

I've already done that as I said above, but I want to play in fullscreen instead of Windowed.

Oh, well I think there is a bug with the "Fullscreen" option. I'm sorry, but that is all I can do...

SearchndstroyFullscreening inside an sp/mp world?

Yes, selecting fullscreen anywhere. To get back into the game I have to change the setting in the .txt file to fullscreen:false
