First I'll list the things that I personally know.

  • Run away when your health goes down so you can regen.
  • Keep your hunger bar up.
  • Don't run away backwards.
  • Jump up and down to deal critical hits.
  • Don't charge, use a bow and keep the enemy at a distance.
  • If you swing, jump, and run around at the same time, it'll be harder for you to hit. (Hunger bar goes down though.)
  • Carry milk for bad potion effects.
  • Spam left and right click to constantly be swinging and blocking.

Reading that you might just decide "what a n00b" and walk away. First let me tell you what I'm up against, and what I have.

What Do I have?
  • Feather Falling 2 and Protection 2 Diamond Boots
  • Protection 3 Diamond Pants
  • Projectile Protection 2 Diamond Chestplate
  • Power 2 and Infinity Bow
  • Knockback 2 and Smite 2 Diamond Sword

What Does the Enemy Have?
Guy 1
  • Full Diamond Armor (Protection 4 on Chestplate)
  • Knockback 2, Fire Aspect, and Sharpness 2 Diamond Sword
  • Flame, Infinity, and Punch 2 Bow

That's not all, here's Guy 1's leader.

Guy 2
  • Protection 4 and Thorns 1 Diamond Helmet
  • Protection 4 and Fire Resistance Diamond Chestplate
  • Protection 4 Diamond Leggings
  • Protection 4 and Feather Falling 2 Diamond Boots
  • Knockback 2, Fire Aspect, Sharpness 2, and Smite 2 Diamond Sword
  • Punch 2, Power 2, Flame, and Infinity Bow

I know I know, you're saying "You liar. Go die in a hole. There's no way to get that many enchantments." He has an XP farm and makes tons of enchanted books. He also saved his Protection 4 armor until he had a full set of it.

So, I live 6000 blocks away, but they go to the nearest warp, 2000 blocks away. Around the time they are 300 blocks away, they drink a Swiftness 2 potion, and get to my house in less than 10 seconds. So by the time they register on the /near command, I'm screwed! I can't even escape!

Why do they do this you ask? We have a plugin called PlayerHeads which makes a player drop a head about 5% of the time. I'm pretty much the only one who they dont' have a head of on the whole server. (Small server, only about like 20 people total, never had more than 9 on at a time.)

So please, help me....

P.S. I have 2 homes. One tall one in a plains biome, easy to seal off, another modern style one in a jungle that's impossible to stop them from getting in, but has the jungle and a cliff near it, making it hard to approach.

Thanks in advance guys.

Personally, I find jumping and charging (sprinting) to deal crits to help my PvP a lot

Honestly, with the enchants you have vs. the enchants they have (ESPECIALLY on their armor), it would be nearly impossible to hold them off.
However, what I'd do is practice shooting at long distances (Out to 80 or 100 meters), and build some kind of a sheltered sniper tower in your base. The ideal bow to have would be a Power V Punch II Flame I, but that takes a lot of work to actually make. Saying that, in order to get through all that armor and actually do any damage, you would probably need at LEAST Power III.

As the expression goes, defense is the best offense. This applies to Minecraft bases too: Build up some kind of a lava moat/cactus grid combined with redstone-based traps (There are plenty of tutorials on YouTube) to keep them from actually accessing your base.

Hope the advice helps!

Just saying, they're probably hacking. So if you want to keep up and merk them all i'd suggest doing the same. Not the brightest idea but w/e.

Try downloading hacked client such as Nodus Or WeepCraft.
They really help in PvP.

Get a good brewing system going. That works. And also make golden apples. That helps even more.

Well thanks for the reassurance But... one thing. Owners don't want the server public quite yet. We're all working hard to make a good spawn, set up the site, get donations running, etc.

Once we go public I'll keep that in mind though.

If you do have any other ideas, tell me. I'll gladly appreciate it.

I'd love to, I mean I have allies. The thing is that they allied with my enemy as well because they don't want any fighting. They also only have iron. (They have like maybe, half a stack of diamonds total?)

My 2 friends who live near me are never on. One stays off by choice, other has little computer time. My friend who lives farther just kind of disappeared off the face of the earth and hasn't been on for almost 2 weeks.

I need a self sustaining method of some sort...
