Getting that push in the right direction.
Hello, I co-own a well-funded towny server. My name is xXCryptoFreakXx, although I am currently using a joint account.
We recently split off from our network in order to grow our community.
We have everything going for us, but yet the new players aren't funneling in as much as we'd hoped.
Get this: our ip is towny.co Yeah.
We've got this flashy banner:

Along with a small dedicated community, a lag free server, and over $800 in network funding.
Here's our PMC page:

Any advice on how to better appeal to players? What bump times are the most effective?
We have the resources and the loyal community, all we need a push in the right direction.

We already have an advanced voting system in place. All of our members vote on every link every day
Getting players in the start is always hard. You either need to put lots of time into advertising your self on forums or spend some money to get ads on websites. Once you get some players set up votifier to have them vote which should get you some extra attention.
