Hey I am using GroupManger on my 1.7.9 Spigot Server and I made a new rank a bit ago that is Vip. This "Bug" (It might be something that I did in the config), it only happens with the "Vip" rank. Everytime I add myself too the rank a couple seconds later it automatically changes me to back to my default "Member" rank. I don't know what the problem is and I can't check my Multicraft console as it's getting spammed by Spigot too much.

Thank you and everyone else for trying too help but after messing around I fixed my problem. I was using GroupManager to have Multi-World permissions and I had too add the group too EVERY world and now it doesn't randomly demote me
Wait, so explain how you fixed this? What was the problem coming from? I wanna know so I can help others if they have this problem. GroupManager is plugin I have been trying to work with and get better at using for a while now. I've broken down the config, and the commands. I know almost everything thing there is to know.....
I know how to fix some errors and problems people are having with them, but this is one I don't know the source of. Mind telling me? :3

YO I've had this problem before too! I found the cause of it, but I'm not too sure if it worked right. It happened when I tried adding groups and stuff inside the config. So I uninstalled, and reinstalled the plugin. And added the groups/perms via ingame commands. I plan on figuring out why group manager config is glitchy when you do that.... but you just have to type it all ingame. Sorry if this is not a good enough answer. This is just what I know. Uninstall and re install the plugin. Do not change anything but repaste the groups in. If that does not fix it add me on skype live:at_coinmaster.
Did you not think to post the errors that are spamming your console?... Those would be pretty helpful. Your permissions are fine and the "Problem" screenshot just sums up your paragraph in a picture.

This is likely because GroupManager isn't fully ready and prepared for the UUID system, which you probably didn't read up about prior to updating.

I've read about it, I know about it. The console is always being spammed by spigot without being involved with GroupManager. It will never stop getting spammed.
Well then, I can't really help with a paragraph that's summed up in a picture along with a working groups.yml.
Alright well I know now it's not only with 1.7.9. I went back too 1.7.5 and the problem still happens. This is all it said when I add myself too VIP group and any other NEW group
I don't know what the problem is as it doesn't even say that I was switched back to default group "Member" in the console, only in-game.
I am gonna try reinstalling the plugin again as one of the other guys stated.
