GroupManagerX ERROR: null | I really need help

Ok so this is my absolute last resort, ive tried using a YAML Parser and everything,
I recently got a new server, and It came around to the time where I needed GroupManager, ive always used groupmanager for permissions, instead of learning Pex.
The first time I have ever used GroupManager+ and it doesnt work, at all.
on my old servers it used to work fine but when I installed it again today to retry, ERROR: null as soon as I add a permission to the owner group.
Im also not sure why it overrides OP, by default owners have essentials.* but as soon as i give myself starperms ( '/manuaddp RyanAyy *' ) It screws everything up.
I dont usually have to reach out for help but ive been trying to fix this for several hours and dont want to move to pex, if you need all of my current plugins and config let me know, thanks for the help.

Try Bssentials Groupmanager. I've found it works far better on newer versions.
