So I use this really bad laptop and I use optifine with almost all settings on lowest but my fps are still about 7-20 I just want to get some decent frames please help.

Try getting a small texture pack such as a 4x4 or an 8x8.
Don't record if you're on a laptop, problem solved.

If you get Fraps, even for the trial, open it and check the box to show FPS. Once you have a FPS number use the option in Fraps to improve it. You don't have to use it for recording but if you do use it for recording, it will be very laggy. Play back the recording and it will be in perfect FPS. For example I can go ahead and build a house while recording with Fraps. This will make it seem laggy when actually playing, but when I pause the game and go to my documents to play the video, it's not laggy at all. That's how I play Mindcraft classic all the time..at least until I got mall ware.

Get fraps, works for me.
Try using FPS plus and OptiLeaves
Buy a better computer.
