Hey everyone whats up sorry about my terrible grammar and stuff but Im on my phone so thats why. Anyway here is the problem I have came up with recently and you will see in a sec while I am writing on my phone.
A few days ago I went on this website called wizard hax to download a client for mind craft (no not hacking) and here's what happened. I clicked download and my Chrome told me there is mall ware on this website, I'm like `what? oh well` and i downloaded it anyway. I launched the program and nothing happened so I thought `hmm maybe my computer is too old to run it?` and I deleted it. The next day I turned on my computer, everything was normal until it went into my account and I logged in with my password. Then on the desktop it turned red and black saying WARNING! and there was a popup saying I had a virus. So obviously I went into uninstall program but I couldn't find anything there, I even tried taking off every single program on my computer including the ones it came with and the virus was still there. I mean I don't know how this happened, I only downloaded a client and that's it, the site was 100% clean of viruses and mall ware because avast! protection is active, that's what it said on the page so it has to be true.
If someone could plz help me out with this that would be great because right now it keeps screaming this really weird siren thing like a military siren (sounds like that) and sometimes a guy comes on the speaker and listens to my mic, for example if i talk to someone in the room i am in, the guy will reply through my speakers. He can even see my webcam because the white light beside the camera is on and basically take control over my computer. My friend told me wizard hack website was safe, and I still believe him. because he is one of my best friends and he would not be trade me like that. Does anyone know how to get rid of this? Please it's really bugging me a lot and now I'm afraid to even turn on my computer, I have it unplugged and the battery is taken out. It is Alienware btw if anyone needs that info. and sorry for terminologys if i said them wrong but again PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me ::(:(

https://www.malwarebytes.org/ This should do the trick for you.
Get a antivirus program? Try to start your computer in safe-mode and delete the program. wizard hax is NOT trusted, full off unsafe content you dont want on your computer. Starting in safe-mode and delete the program should do it. Remember to change your mc-password.
1. Wizard Hax? Why else would you go there other than hacks?
2. If Chrome tells you there is malware, DON'T GO ON IT!
3. Turn off your webcam so the creepy hacker guy doesn't see you.
4. Ask Google. If you can't figure out still I suggest going to Best Buy or just getting a new computer.
Hope I helped D:

yeah i got a virus though a art program and my webcam was turned on and the guy was like kattttieeee... and i was like o.0. i ended up deleting the program and unstalling the webcam. something else happend but its a secret that would get me banned.
Talk with your parents immediately, tell them the situation, and what happened. Besides that you may have to get someone else to fix it that knows what they're doing. Also you may have to reinstall windows.
its fine now.and when i posted it online the guy said oh crap
Well still, just install malwarebytes like people said, and remember not to visit websites like that. Learning is key, and this is a learning experience.
Hotpancakewww.malwarebytes.org/ This should do the trick for you.
This.
Scan with this program, remove all threats, restart your PC, then rescan and remove any more threats if necessary.
Also, I'm unable to do this but I'm sure someone that sees this will be able to help you, press ctrl+alt+delte and open task manager. Then take a screenshot of all of the programs running and someone here will tell you what ones look suspicious so you can end them immediately.
Hotpancake thanks for your link, i checked it out on my phone. unfortunately i'm afraid to turn on my computer now because the guy hacking it might do something bad to it... i really dont know what could happen, i have my paypal and youtube on there. also i forgot to mention this but my internet is actually blocked by this mall ware because for some reason it says i have to pay first, otherwise i will not have internet and it will encrypt my files in a few hours. how can i get on the internet on my laptop to download this?
gorgonoff Yes i have antivirus it is norton antivirus, i leave it in the cd/dvd rom all the time to make sure it is constantly scanning the disc. however usually it spins the disc when the computer is starting up and then once it's started up, the disc just sits there. i googled safe mode for windows and tried holding F8 key but it didn't work and i didn't get the safe mode with networking menu, it just went into normal windows. can you teach me how exactly to get into safe mode? i have alienware and windows 8 if that helps
cheeseburger1 1. i spesifikaly said in my first post that it was not for hacking, i dont even hack. if i look like a hacker to you then great but thats not important, right now i need to get my computer fixed because in fact its not even mine.... but i swear i was not on wizard haxs for hacks, why would i even hack? 2. chrome did tell me that it was mall ware and viruses ahead but my friend told me its safe and he earns money from it all the time to i sort of had to assume it was safe. also the website had the trustworthy and safe feel to it, so i had a sense that it was clean. but i do regret that now. 3. i can't turn it off but i will cover it with a piece of paper on tape. still im a bit worried about my mic, they can still hear me and will sometimes say things into my speaker if i'm talking with someone in my room. which is really embarrassing because they can look into my files and well like idk how to say this but... give out personal info? 4. i did try googling it, but foun nothing that actually worked. the internet is down on my laptop so that cuts down a lot of possibilities. also this is not my computer, and i dont feel like getting a new one for whoever it is. they probably won't need it anyway.
if anyone knows solutions please hesitate to share them thank you

Try starting in safe mode, and launch Norton. It should be able to detect the problem and get rid of it.
To get into safe mode for Windows 7(should work on other versions of Windows, too. If not, let me know):
Make sure your optical drive(s) are empty. Then, shut the computer down (or turn it back on since you said it's already off). Press and hold f8 to reach the advanced boot options. Scroll down to "safe mode" with the arrow keys, and press enter. Once you're in, start Norton and have it do a full scan on your computer.
Good luck.

Ok, sorry, I'm not perfect...
I was saying with a website called Wizard Hax I have no idea what would be on there other than hacks, and I'm not saying you sound like a hacker... and yes I know you said that.
It's not possible to turn off your mic?
I thought you said your laptop was off, but then they're talking into the speakers.
Anyway Idk very much about it but in the future just trust Chrome when it tells you that, and I do recommend getting a anti-malware program.

Just because you have a virus doesn't mean there is a guy hacking your computer. Usually viruses are automated things that just inject a line of code into a program you frequently use or it runs a program in the background that records your keystrokes.
Don't visit any websites for hacked clients. You shouldn't even be using hacked clients either way. That'll just get you banned from servers.
Ah, come on, he already knows this. Not helping him any.
If absolutely nothing works, try taking out the hard drive, bringing it to a ITTech, or someone who some skill with that stuff, and ask him to entirely wipe it. If you can find another hard drive with the same model, that's an option, but if its possible, try deleting everything on the hard drive and reinstalling the operating system. I don't even know if that's a feasible possibility, but people install new ones all the time, soo... maybe.

What does the screen say that says that?
Shouldn't the name "Wizard Hax" set off some warning bells?
That's what you get for trying cheat in a game

thanks for mostly constructive replies, however it would be best if i did not have to go out and buy something. would it be possible for me to fix this by myself? as i do not want anyone else to have access to my laptop, that means they will be able to trace it by the IP address and serial number which i do not want to happen. again let me say this one last time for people who did not read the first post, i was not on wizard hack for hax. i barely even hack and if i do, what reasons are there to hack in minecraft? i play perfectly legit in multiplayer and do not hack, i went on wizard hack because my friend said there was this program on there and since he makes a lot of money from these things i always trust him.
i just remembered, maybe this was when i got the virus. when i clicked download i had to use my phone for 2 surveys and use my phone. my phone is iphone so its good that it doesnt get viruses but on my computer thats when it started to feel REALLY slow, im not kidding when i pressed a key it took 10 seconds to register it on the screen. only the time i got imlivid vlc 7z and the text message to verify i was a winner was the time it started slowing down... that MIGHT have something to do with this but then again my friend says its perfectly safe and he earns money everyday, im not sure who to believe right now... sorry but ive known him for a long time, he is very successful and everything.
if anyone knows how to get rid of this mall ware or can provide more info about this (without me having to buy a new laptop) please reply, thanks

Your friend is a scamming liar, probably put you up to this to have a good laugh and getting money off of messing up your computer? I am thinking ahead here.
lezamthanks for mostly constructive replies, however it would be best if i did not have to go out and buy something.
Malwarebytes is free. Unless, of course, you choose to buy the full version (which is almost never necessary).
Why the heck would you be on wizard hax if you weren't going to hack? If you were trying to get a minecraft client from it, just buy minecraft legit. Its only the .jar that hacked clients give to you anyway. Wizard hax is a HACKING WEBSITE. The only thing on there is hacks! THE NAME SHOULD EXPLAIN THAT!!!
If you have ever been to wizardhax.com, you would know it is very useful for modpacks, tools, and tutorials.
theshackbush i can't get internet on it unless i decrypt my files which includes internet explorer... do you know how to get mall ware bites without connecting to wifi? thanks.
hunter domestic i was NOT on wizard hax to hack, you cant judge a book by its cover like how you cant judge a website by its name. ok let me give you an exmaple, say i made a website called 'free music download', which would be illegal judging by the name but on the website there were no music to be downloaded. that's not illegal is it?
oh and btw wizard hacks is not just minecraft clients, my friend actually makes money off of it. then explain how he has a mercedes and is saving up for a ferrari? btw he also has a beast gaming laptop so explain how that is possible if it was a virus website and he did not make money from it. either that or he has a really good job...
hotpancake thank you so much for you reply, but i actually keep the norton disc inside the drive at all times. if i just leave it in like i normally do, it goes into windows and will spin the disc for 30 seconds before letting it sit again. i tried taking norton out and doing the f8 thing, however it did not work and i just went into windows normally and there was no advanced boost options. maybe its because of windows 8, because things were changed a lot in windows 8

This is the main reason why I despise Windows 8. They got rid of the f8 to enter the advanced boot options. I do not know how to start in safe mode on Windows 8, as I could never figure it out. Try finding tutorials.
Wizzard Hax is very sketchy and either steals others hacked clients or they just give you a s**t ton of malware but if you have Norton that worked for me or if not and you don't want to install/buy anything search your control panel settings and you'll find uninstall a program. Just look around for anything that seems shady (beware not to delete anything your unsure about unless yo know your system because you could end up uninstalling something important) and right click and click on uninstall
-Hope it works for you if not try the other suggestions

Sometimes pop-up adds on websites will say you have a Virus, but you don't. But sometimes their right...so that probably was not any help.
Yeah, got some mall ware from mind craft
I like how someone finally points out the spelling in the title... Kids...
Just thought it was funny ;s, had to point it out.
actually that's how it spelled
zachzach99 as mentioned in the first post, i did try installing every single program from my control panel but that did not work. i started out with things that looked suspicious but nothing worked, ended up deleting everything and the virus was still there. (however other than my programs being gone, it did not affect my computer in any way.)
gabe4356 hmm you know what? i think i remember it was being a popup. when i clicked dowlnoad, the screen went blank except for the very center which was a popup-like box that told me i had to complete two virus-free surveys. i saw avast! protection was active so i thought maybe it didn't have a virus... but now i just realized i have norton not avast.
cheeseburger1`, i meant that if my computer was on but the screen was closed down, if one of my friends were in my room and the laptop was beside me and i was talking to that friend, sometimes i would say something to my friend or he would say something to me, and instead of the other person replying the laptop would actually turn on its speakers and a guy's voice comes on and replies. its really weird and thats how i know he can hear me thorugh the mic.

Oh, now it makes more sense.
NEVER EVER click popups, and if something is a survey DON'T do it! And also, how could you be so unaware? The thing literally had "virus free" in the survey, if it was virus free it wouldn't need to say it. Okay. Rage over.
Is there a nordstrom in your mall ware?
So your using windows 8? In that case you need to go to the logon screen and click restart whilst holding the shift key. That should start your laptop in safe mode if I remember correctly. From there I recommend following the other advice.
If possible get a USB and download a program called Ccleaner from the web. Put it on your laptop via the USB and run the registry and normal clean, while it isn't as effective as malware bytes it won't want to connect to the internet to update the master list upon setup.

Sorry, dude. That's all on you.
Smart thing to do would to have left the side right as you saw that.
But hey, cracked users aren't that bright.

Just one more thing.
You *have* this amazingly rich friend with a good job that makes a lot of money, and you didn't even think about asking him for a minecraft account?
Lezam wizard hax to download a client for mind craft (no not hacking)
all wizard hacks is is hacked clients
and a skin viewer which i use lots
and colouring in wizard which is awesome
wizhacks is not to be trusted. my anti virus and my google chrome warned me about malware but lucky mcaffee is good at removing malware
but i needed a hacked client to help test my friends server protections
magicman88999 my friend actually makes money off of wizard hacks whenever someone downloads using the referral link he gave me, so i sort of wanted to support him for giving me the site. anyway thats why i didnt ask him for an acct. until i can figure out how to embed images into a post on PMC... *faceplam* *faceplan* *faceplant*

are you saying that i can't afford an account? hut, no. of course i can buy an account and i actually do have one, i was on wizard hax because my friend recommended it and i decided to use this referral link because he told me about it so he could make some money off of it. now my computer is infected with a virus, does it look like i actually care about playing minecraft at lesat until my computer is fixed? i have a wizard hack program on my desktop waiting for me to play minecraft and its not working

If you're talking about posting referral links hidden behind images on PMC, that will get you a ban very quickly.

Anyways I would recommend going to someone in person. Like a Best Buy techy guy or something. It would be easier to get a better sense and better help.
I have downloaded 1 virus in the past week (I was looking for some free music for my video and when I downloaded it, it came as a exe.)
1. Norton Auto Removed it in 2 seconds
2. I then did a full system scan using Norton
3. I then downloaded from the REAL microsoft website, the malware scanner and remover (Not security essentials with is a ANTI-Virus)
4. I then downloaded the power malware eraser and did a scan using that
5. I then downloaded a root scanner ( I don't remember)
You should follow these steps (If you don't have norton, Avast or microsoft security essentials are good, they're both free)
HINT: .exe's files are most likely to contain viruses

Hi, The best solution is, download Malwarebytes anti malware, if you are worried about the other person just ignore him, NOTE: Do this all in Safe Mode with Networking
Start windows up normally, run the Malwarebytes installer, install it, then make sure it is updated. When that is completed do a scan, I recommend full scan but quick works just as well, when that is completed it should have some infected files and stuff like that, click show results and make sure everything is checked, and click remove, then it should be fixed. If you are unable to run Malwarebytes then download Malwarebytes cameleon and run one file and go down the list until one of them works. If that doesnt even work, then I would reformat and re-install Windows.
Let me know if that works for ya!

it says i have to pay to decrypt my files before i can use my computer first. thx
That virus sounds like ransom-ware to me. "Pay to decrypt files". Most likely, that warning is fake.
My recommendation is to do a system restore, or you could get a new hard drive and re-install Windows. It is really easy to swap out hard drives. Trust me. I have done it before.
While I'm here, lemme tell you about a few things about viruses. You might want to know about some of this.
1) They can hide themselves and disable your anti-virus software, so you don't find out they are there, and thus won't do anything about it. Uninstalling a program will NOT delete the virus! Viruses aren't that simple to remove!
2) You don't need to click a button to get a virus. Go to a website that gives out viruses, and boom! You have one without clicking a button!
3) Just because something LOOKS like it isn't doing anything bad, doesn't mean it isn't doing something bad. I could make a program that had a pop-up box that told funny jokes, but it would also delete all of your files.
