Can't really find an answer with this one, especially involving Minecraft.
I'm running Linux Mint Cinnamon 18, and getting this Java error:

I've noticed this error constantly:
Exception: javax.net.ssl.SSLException: java.lang.RuntimeException:
Unexpected error: java.security.InvalidAlgorithmParameterException: the
trustAnchors parameter must be non-empty
I'm assuming it can't find the correct Java? Not entirely sure since I've never gotten this error before.
I did "update-java-alternatives" in terminal:
⬛@⬛:~$ sudo update-java-alternatives -l
java-1.11.0-openjdk-amd64 1101 /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.11.0-openjdk-amd64
⬛@⬛:~$ java --version
openjdk 10.0.1 2018-04-17
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 10.0.1+10-Ubuntu-3ubuntu1)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 10.0.1+10-Ubuntu-3ubuntu1, mixed mode)
I also tried "sudo apt-get install --reinstall ca-certificates-java" to no avail.
I tried another version of the above code "sudo apt-get install ca-certificates-java"
And I tried "sudo dpkg --purge --force-depends ca-certificates-java" then "sudo apt-get install ca-certificates-java", which also did nothing.
I checked my .minecraft folder for any error logs, but the folder was empty. Literally, nothing was in the .minecraft folder.
Before you ask; Yes, I am an admin. I did use "sudo" and used the correct password.
Yes, I did have "show hidden content" on.
Yes, I did check to see if I had any logs, which there wasn't any.
Yes, I did try re-installing Minecraft.
Yes, I did try re-installing Java
Yes, I got Java from the official site and followed the official instructions.
Yes, I do have correct GPU drivers.
Yes, I am connected to Wi-Fi.
Sorry, this is what people usually ask when this happens.
I tried several solutions, but nothing worked. Hopefully you guys know what you're doing.

uninstall java 10 and use java 8. java 9 and 10 are buggy and minecraft doesn't like them
you need to use java 8 not 10
Since I can't edit my post, just gonna do it here:
Found out what Exception: javax.net.ssl.SSLException: java.lang.RuntimeException:
Unexpected error: java.security.InvalidAlgorithmParameterException: the
trustAnchors parameter must be non-empty Means, but I still can't find a solution.
It means it cannot find the Java certificate thingo, which was the last bit of code I tried was trying to fix. Like I said, it did nothing.
Also: Yes, I did install Minecraft from the official site.
