Right, so this concernes 1.6 Resource Packs.

Before I begin, here is what you need to know: I am on a Mac with Apple Lion OS running. I have the proper 1.6 launcher installed, and all the proper other stuff.

My problem is a rather odd one. When I go to the Resource Packs menu and click "open resource packs folder" button all works fine. I have my chosen Resource pack to install on my desktop and drag it into the resource packs folder; just in case, both the folder and the .zip file.

Nothing.

Nothing happens in the resource packs menu on Minecraft; the only thing in there is the default Resource pack.

My question now is, what the hell?! Is it a problem with the resource pack (New Horizon), my OS, my computer, MInecraft, what?!

A bit of help would be nice. Thank you for reading.

Try watching this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDSupv5p-xQ
If there is .lang file, you have to place that in your assets folder, although I don't know if that would cause the problem or not. I hope that video can help, if not I will get back to you later if I can find a cure
