Help!!! 1.2.5 MCpatcher won't detect

Long Story short, I only wanna play patch 1.2.5 with dokucraft. Everything works with sound and dokucraft installed but the water texture is broken (kinda ruins the experience). MCPatcher won't detect my .minecraft. Is there any way to fix this or is there a different solution to the broken textures? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
