{1.7.2} HELP!!!

Hey guys? I'd really like it you could help me with this problem... So on the new 1.7.2 update, I downloaded it and everything works fine until, I join in a server. So when I join a server my minecraft like just lags like the FPS drooped to 1? I try to move but it just freezes up and I cant move, until my minecraft.exe goes unresponsive. And my computers really not that old... But it does say I may need a new Graphics card for minecraft in the way future for OpenGL 2.0.
If anyone else gets this error and knows how to fix this please help! Thanks

or ur pc is too old for the 1.7.2 version xD.
if the problem is with openGl, then go to your settings and turn of Advanced OpenGl
i think its mainly your graphics card thats the issue. possibly the opengl stuff, too
