HELP ME!!!
Here is my launcher log.
ISo i ran into a problem and you suggest this
This is likely the result of outdated drivers.
Try downloading new drivers for your GPU (e.g. Nvidia geforce drivers or Intel HD graphics 3000).
To find what GPU you have, go to the System Information panel (assuming windows) and look under "display adapters".
I use windows 8 so can you give me a in depth fix so that i can understand because im not very tech - smart i know quite a few things but yeah... It only happens with minecraft. I can play other games like FTL... Please help i cant stand it... I tried using the technic launcher the normal launcher reinstalling it and ya updating any updates like java and windows! Here are some other ideas people have thought of
1 - Your CPU is not processing enough power.
2 - Your running Minecraft on too high of Graphics.
3 - Are you running Windows 7-8?
4 - And/or How much RAM is given to you and/or do you have a Virus..
If it only happens there, then there's no problem. Also did you update your graphics drivers and such?
So yeah I have answers to some of them
1. IDK
2. Im not sure how to check
3. Im running windows 8
4. I dont have a virus and im not sure how to check
It happens everywere
Im desperate to fix it!
I use a ALienware 14 laptop. I have firewall on (i dont know how this would effect it but yeah) and here is a image http://imgur.com/7Ig3xg7
Thankyou...
it isnt to do with the drivers I've got windows 8.1 (might be this)

THATS MY ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION
No texture pack
bump
SearchndstroyKillertoadSearchndstroy
Optimizing code isn't something small.
And your point is?
Nothing.
I've seen this type of glitch before, are you using a texture pack?
You're asking the wrong person, lol.

The UI is different. The core isn't much different. 8.1 is just better optimized, less code, and generally smaller.
You don't have to use the Metro on 8/8.1. You can just stick with the desktop screen, just like Windows 7.
8.1 is better for gaming as well. Most people that hate on 8.1, have never used it, or got it on a low end computer.
Ive never used it. I run a high - end laptop i think... Alienware 14
chlochlo656Ive reinstalled minecraft... Its to do with windows 8.1 im sure of it... If someone can help me revert to Windows 8
No, it has nothing to do with Windows 8.1. Millions of people play minecraft on 8.1 without a problem.
Also, what exactly is your problem? You haven't posted anywhere what your problem is?
What are your specs?
Ive reinstalled minecraft... Its to do with windows 8.1 im sure of it... If someone can help me revert to Windows 8
maybe try cleaning your cache, cookies, disk cleanup, or disk defragment, not sure why but if i go to long with doing it my system gets buggy too but im on 7 if all else fails maybe re download minecraft u may have corrupted a file somehow i may not be right but its worth a shot
http://bit.ly/1cmjjtG that should solve it
Windows 8.1 is not the problem! Why does everyone keep saying that? It's literally the same as Windows 7 but with more features and a different design. Windows 8.1 is never the problem, if you have a Windows 7 download, it will work just as well on Windows 8.1
So. I really can't help you if I don't know what error you're getting or what exactly is the problem.
From the launcher.log I can't tell you anything other than it works fine.
What exactly is your problem? Do you get errors and if so what?

I would consider that a low-end laptop
They're different but I can tell you that pretty much %90 of the applications you run that were built for Windows 7 will also run on Windows 8/8.1
BUMB NONNE OF THIS IS WORKING
First, update your NVIDIA Drivers. How?
We're going to need some information to update them!
Let us begin, you're going to want to grab the name of your graphics card. To do this, there are multiple ways.
For now, lets just use the Device Manager way.
1) Press the start key located between the ctrl/alt keys on the left hand side.
2) Type (Just type it as soon as the start menu appears, don't press or click anything) "Device Manager" and press enter (just press enter, don't do anything else)
3) A Window should open with the title "Device Manager". In that Window, I want you to look for something called "DIsplay adapters" and press that little arrow facing the right to collapse it.
4) Your Graphics Card should appear, now keep that window open.
Now I want you to go to this website and select your country: http://www.nvidia.com/content/global/global.php
or if you live in the US just click on this one (or select US on the link above):
http://www.nvidia.com/page/home.html
Click on NVIDIA Drivers and click on All Nvidia Drivers
Now you should be at this page: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us (For North American users only!)
Select either option 1 or option 2 to find your graphics card's drivers.
(To find out if your system is 32-bit or 64-bit, press the start key, type in system press enter, , now you should see a window, look for 32-bit or 64-bit and that will determine if your operating system is 32 or 64.)
Now a driver should appear with a download on it! Finally, download and install the drivers. It should be an executable (.exe) file so just once the download finishes, double-click that file and install!
Finally you've updated your drivers.
EDIT: I just read the post above me, if they're up to date then I guess this post is useless :'(
Anyways. once you've updated your drivers just refer to my next post since this post is tl;dr

Depending on what you're using there could be few things happening.
1 - Your CPU is not processing enough power.
2 - Your running Minecraft on too high of Graphics.
3 - Are you running Windows 7-8?
4 - And/or How much RAM is given to you and/or do you have a Virus..
