I was having the exact same problem and i turned on my vbo setting and it worked for me too!! Pass on the solution!
Searched some more, and some said to turn on your VBO setting. It worked! Might be helpful for other people
Reinstalled java, minecraft 1.9 still doesn't work
1 more question, if you are running a minecraft server requring java, and if you reinstall it, will your world all be generated or brand new?
Your world will be the same, Java is the language Minecraft runs off of and does not decide it's mechanics.
Thanks! I'm gonna try to uninstall and install java now
Left click 1x and Right click 1x on minecraft.exe and then you get some options and one of the first should say "Run as administrator"
sorry I'm not really computer tech, and I bought the game. How do you run in administrator mode D: sorry..
Hopefully you aren't using the pirated version of minecraft.
Try running in administrator mode (or run the compatibility troubleshooter). If that doesn't work try to update Java, or re-install it.
Hope this helped!
Many people seem to have this problem.
