i have minecraft java and i downloaded some mods onto there. (mo' creatures,bibliocraft, decocraft, and custom mob spawner) they look like they're working and all, but the thing is, its extremely laggy and every 5 seconds theres just a giant lag spike. this wasn't happening before i downloaded the mods, so does it have anything to do with the mods i downloaded? or does it have to do with the computer i use? (i use windows10) please help!

you need to let minecraft use more ram
I've heard decocraft is a very large mod that could cause lag. But I don't have it myself so I can't confirm.
most likely a mod, try minecraft with one mod at a time to see if its one mod inparticular causing the lag
have you tried changing your settings down lower, maybe that will help?
if that doesn't work, maybe you have to much things open on your computer and its slowing down minecraft.
