Okay, so, the issue I've been having is that whenever I try to log onto Minecraft, the world freezes on the "Building terrain" or "loading world" screen and won't let me exit out of it unless I use Task Manager. On multiplayer servers I've been able to get a little further into the game, though. I'm able to see the spawn point and what ever loads in front of me, but it immediately freezes and crashes. I've already tried changing the render distance, messing with the vysnc and vbos, deleting and reinstalling minecraft, and switching the versions. (I don't know how to check which version of Java I'm using so I can't include that in here, sorry. I installed the latest update yesterday, though.) This has been going on for a week or so. I'm not using Forge. (I'm not a computer whiz so please keep what ever tips you send me as comprehensible as possible.)

Are you using OptiFine? I have had a similar issue in the past using OptiFine, and i fixed it by re-installing 64-Bit Java. (just look up a tutorial online on how to install it)

Need a crash report, you can find them in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\crash-reports

It just says that an unexpected issue occurred and apparently I don't even have a crash reports folder

Maybe it's a problem with ram. Do you use any mods? That could cause the problem too.

I don't use any mods and I don't know how to change up the ram. (I'm fairly daft when it comes to computers, if that wasn't clear enough already)

there is a ton of tutorials about that ram thing.
For example this one: https://hypixel.net/threads/guide-100-memory-lag-spikes-fixed.387004/
I had a problem with ram that i ran out of ram when I started the world, but this helped me. (you have to have at least 4GB RAM)
