Help! My friends server is boring!!!

To make a server enjoyable and the replay ability in the server fun and exciting, is that you should like grey said, originality and if it is another PvP or faction server, spice things up, make your own twist on those ideas that others have used! You want to be dedicated to your players and make them feel like they can ask for help anytime, it's also not about how many people are coming on your server, it's about how many are coming back! There could only be 10 people going to a server at once, but if those same 10 people are coming back for more each day, that means that you have succeeded and that they feel that it is a fun enough server. Make some events! Give them good loot every now and then for the most dedicated players, maybe even come up with contests, like whoever has the most... Let's say... Purple wool at the end of the week wins a prize or even a house or whatever you want! I really hope this helped and I hope you have a better time on your friends server!

I agree with grey, but 1 thing that has made servers fun for me are the staff and players! they need to be nice, freindly anf fun, for people to have a good time! Or it might just be that the server needs more/new people! Tell your freind to post it to planetminecraft or if he has to bump the submission to get more players! Hope I could help!

Originality in a server. Do what people haven't done, and make sure it's interesting and easy to get into! Anything can make a server fun, it matters on how you advertise/market it.
