Help how do I make the resource packs work on Java

Step 1: Find Resource packs that suit best for you

Step 2: A lot of resource packs require optifine,
so make sure you have that installed

Step 3: Put the file that you downloaded of that
resource pack and go to %appdata% Then go to
.minecraft and the go into the resource packs folder

Step 4: Launch minecraft and go into settings, Then resource
packs and youre done!

Download whatever pack you want and then go to "Options > Resource Packs." Open your resource pack folder and put your resource pack(s) in it. Close the folder and then you can activate your pack. If you want a visual demonstration you can easily find tutorials on youtube, but if you're still struggling after that you probably have an issue.
