if it doesent work download jarfix to fix the java download it should in theorie work.

then this screen should pop up and you DONT WANNA PUSH THE FREE DOWNLOAD BUTTON. just push the link under it called: "No thanks, continue downloading jarfix."

then it starts and go to java.com to get java click the FREE JAVA-DOWNLOAD
then it should download good after that u wanna download optifine. have fun my friend i hope it works!

If you're using Windows try the following:
1) Hold down the System key and press R. Release both.
2) A window should pop up. Enter "cmd" and click "OK".
3) Another window should pop up.
3) enter "cd Desktop" and hit enter.
Next, let's make sure java runs as expected.
4) enter "java --version" and hit enter.
If java works you should get an output like this:java 15.0.2 2021-01-19
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 15.0.2+7-27)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 15.0.2+7-27, mixed mode, sharing)It might look a little bit different, please share the output.
If it worked, let's search for errors in the installer.
5) Drag the installer on your dektop
6) Back in the black window type "java -jar <filename>". Replace "<filename>" with the name of your jar file including ".jar" (If it doesn't look like the if the filename ends with ".jar" make sure to press tab.
7) Hit enter.
The installer should start. If you see an error message instead post this as well.

Try running Jarfix. It's a program that fixes the .jar file association on Windows so that when you double-click on a .jar file, it actually runs (rather than having to navigate and run the file using the command line).
