Group Manager is by far the easiest one to use and in my mind, way better then PEX. It is really just a preference, there is no real reason why PEX is not as good as Group Manager, so it doesnt matter much. I wrote a pretty good blog tutorial, so you can look at that or just msg me and ill help you out
You'll have to learn most of that yourself, it's not that hard, just watch some videos about it. Also, I would suggest using Permissionsex. If you switch to that, I could help you if you ran into any problems. If you have any questions, just pm me or follow me on twitter!
