Optimal Settings
Graphics: Fast

3D Anaglyph: Off
GUI Scale: Auto
Brightness: Bright
Particles: Minimal
Fullscreen: Off
Render Distance: Tiny/Small

View Bobbing: Off
Advanced OpenGL: Off

try these and it should remove lag.

I used to have this, I just went and downloaded Camtasia Studio 8 and I had no lag, I used fraps and I think it uses up allot of your computer and that is the reason why. For some reason Camtasia dosen't lag at all. Give it a try!

WEll AMD Athlon's are nice processors and will do perfectly unless you really have the money to get a bigger better one. I can't really advise you on a processor as it depends on so many factors.

Hmm, well its only 512mb DDR2 you really want something with at least 1gb of ddr3 vram or your not going to get much performance.

You need a graphics card! Athlon II x2 are fine, 2.8ghz is enough too. You probably have a rubbish intergrated graphics card and that's what makes you lag. Your CPU is fine. you could try overclock it to like 3.3ghz if you know what you are doing.

Graphics card is a must! That is why your lagging! 5GB ram is good too.
