I recently updated my factions plugin and mobs are spawning in the safezone...

You've probably accidentally messed up your config. You can go in it and go to the safezone area, and try to fix that. I suggest just deleting and downloading a new one though, as faction configs seem to be very buggy. (Or at least when i mess with them)
