I bought a new server 2gbRAM/50slots, not saying the IP till I'm done setting it up.
After hours of working my spawn with World Edit, it starts to get ms lag can anyone explain that?(I used Nodus btw so I can see the MS lag)
So far I have these Plugins: Buycraft, Chest Shop, Combat Tag, Essentials, Group Manager, Factions, Factions Plus, iConomy, Jobs, Tim the Enchanter, Vault, World Edit, and World Guard.
I'm going for a pvp, factions, raiding/griefing type server.
If you have any other good plugins you can suggest, that would be greatly appreciated.
I also need help on settings for certain plugins like essentials is one, not being applied...
I go into my server with my FTP program and save the congfig file or file I want to edit to my own folder and edit it with notepad++ and save it. After that I upload the edited file, overwriting the server file and reload the server, but the settings weren't changed...
I was trying to add some /kits and add multiple /homes for donator ranks.

I have had friends and seen their quality, I know there are better hosts out there.

Haha, bunch of BS. I have used both, and Group Manager is just as powerful and better then PEX. You can add variables with Group Manager simply by /mangaddv <Group> <prefix/suffix> <what you want here> No editing of the file is needed. get off the shrooms. Who is your host provider? you may be interested in switching. It could be just a bad host, or a corrupted or old plugin. I would suggest Voxel Sniper, its a much better Terraformer then World Edit.

May I recommend permissionsex? Its far more efficient than group manager, and comes with a chat manager plugin that makes titles, colors, and chat enhancements a snap. Literally, you dont have to edit a config file if you dont want to. You can make groups, give them permissions, and give them titles all from commands in game.

Thanks for your suggestion, but I know how both Group manager and pex work and I prefer to edit my plugins through the confil. files.
