I have got minecraft yesterday and i downloaded minecraft i opened up minecraft it went through updates and stuff then i did the play it loaded and the green thing went through. It then closed by itself and then a minecraft table on the taskbar opened up and i click on it it then opened up but it was empty there was only a outline of the box and the X, (spaure), and the minimize it would not load i left it for 2 hours and it still didnt work i really need help i want to play minecraft whoever helps me i will play on ur server

You need more RAM and close any other programs running
DONT WORRY ill just never play minecraft in my live
that could be the reason if you only have 1gb because by default minecraft funs of 1gb if im right so in other words its taking all your ram
installed memory (ram) 1.00 GB
You need a better computer with more RAM, or you can try and run minecraft with less RAM but it will lag a lot.

I only have javaw.exe though
Update Java, make sure your not running tons of programs, and do this:
Right click on the taskbar >
Open task manager >
Go to 'Processes' >
Right click on 'Javaw.exe' and 'Java.exe' >
Set the priority of both as high or above normal.
Open the Minecraft Launcher >
Press 'Edit profile' on the left >
Go to the bottom and tick the box 'JVM Arguments' >
Change the number next in the -Xmx1G Area to 2 or 3.

Try redownloading maybe, I gtg. ANother thing to do is to create a new account on there and play 1.6.2, that will work, once creating it, down near the bottom will be where u change it, i rly gtg now cya!

im using the 1.7 java update one
What version of Java are you using? Maybe you need to update Java. There are lots of things that could be causing this problem: your graphics card might not be good enough, the operating system might not support it, your computer might not have a good enough processor or not enough RAM, etc.
I NEED HELP SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE
