Hello. I needed to uninstall minecraft and I read on the forum that it is uninstalled by deleting BIN and Resource in my .minecraft folder. I have done so and the guy who said that when you delete those folders that they will be reinstalled when installng MC again. However after a few trys (installs) I still do not have bin and resource folder back. Is this solvable? Please do help.

I'm running minecraft 1.7.4. In my .minecraft folder, which is brand new and fully functional, there is no bin or resources folder. I believe the setup of the .minecraft folder has been changed, hence the new "versions" folder that wasn't there before. I don't think you need to worry that you have no bin/resources.
Hope I helped.

In the new minecraft versions (I think 1.6 and above) there is no bin and resource folder anymore.
Just do it like FLAMESS123 said (save your resource packs and saves) and after installing minecraft just copy the folders in the .minecraft folder.
Hope i could help you

Well, just delete the .minecraft folder altogether, and re-download it from minecraft.net
Don't forget to backup your resource packs and saves! (if you want to.)
I don't know what else to tell you...
