Help Please, Minecraft Not working.

[1.5.2] Windows- Minecraft Startup Error/ Mod Error

I am trying to download CraftGuide for my minecraft. I downloaded MC Forge, and put the CraftGuide .zip file in the .minecraft/mods/ file, but it just keeps crashing. Please help, I just don't know what went wrong.

did you put the zip folder in or only the files in it? because y9our suppose to put the files in it in mc.jar not the .zip

Did you delete META-INF? Was it a .jar file? If it was, it should be in coremods

Taking a look at your error report, it seems like this is a problem the mod has caused itself. Tell the mod maker to fix it.

Also, try deleting the META-INF file. It worked for me. Sorry if I'm completely wrong, I'm not a developer.

I would suggest just using the Magic Launcher first just to see if it works with your hardware,,, I remember GLSL Shaders has problems with Intel processors or something, so you might want to check that. Aso, you want to check all your versions. And if all else fails, just use the Magic Launcher. It saves bunches of time.

Ok... Do you have any other mods installed? Mod conflicts are amongst the most common causes of minecraft crashes.
