Help Please. Save file seed reset

Hi! I recently switched computers and because I did not have a flash drive I stored everything to the cloud (google drive). Since re downloading the save files the seeds seem to have reset and everything in the worlds seems to have disappeared. My inventory is the same, the original map is the same but everything in the map is different. This is a bigger problems because I have done some serious editing with MCedit and world paint. I believe that the level.dat file may have been discounted. So how do I reorder it so that the older one is used and the original content returns. It also unzipped everything in order to move it from google drive. Could one of these be the problem. If so is anything recoverable?

I am seeing that I have several level.dat files including:
level.dat
level.dat_mcr
level.dat_old
session.lock

If you need anymore info to help I am happy to give it. I have about 70 hours invested into one of these file and it is the main staging area for a server I am hoping to launch.
