Help Save Griefed Server!

Hi guys,
I just wanted to say that I NEED help recreating a server that has served me well since it started. When I was on the server there was a great town there when I left on a holiday I came back to a sign saying: Hi people, i just luv this server so much so i had to burn it down! >:D TEAM OBLIVION. I know that it is a random name and they are all just copycats but the admins and owners have given up on it so I think that we shouldn't. Help me rebuild this glorious server and get back its name!!! The IP is: mineshift.net

Sounds to me like the server in question needs to get some protection/anti-griefing plugins before it can be saved--otherwise, history will repeat. Sad as that is to say
