so, there are some mods out there that i would realy like to try out, but for some od reason, even though ive done everything the exact same way as when i instaled forge 1.7.10, 1.6.4 and latter wont even start up for me, even when un-modded, no crash log, nothing, its like the game just quit working without crashing, anyone have any ideas on how i can fix this or whats wrong?

Why are you trying 1.6.4? You only need 1 forge version for it to work.
you do if you want a mod to run, for all mods you need the forge version thats the same version as the minecraft version that the mod works for, so if the mod is for minecraft 1.6.2, then you will need forge 1.6.2 to run the mod or else the mod will not run, and this doesnt happen for just 1.6.4, ive tried 1.7.2 and same thing happens, and trust me, ive tried running older version mods on 1.7.10 and they ether crash the game or they dont run.
