Help with mob spawning
Hey guys, I've been searching for about 30 minutes now, and couldn't find anything so I decided to come here. One of the known methods on factions servers to get beacons & withers to raid bases is farm wither skeletons by silk touch mining a skeleton spawner and bringing it into the nether to make a wither skeleton grinder. I have been noticing lately that the skeleton spawns in the nether are extremely high and somebody with about 4 spawners can get a wither in under a minute. Thats bad, because after about 20 minutes of asking, sombody can easily spawn about 10 withers on a base and do quite some damage. but the reason for why I need this is irrelevant, I just need to know how I can decrease mob drops in a specific world for a specific mob. I also might need to reduce iron golem drops because rich players are able to buy iron golem spawners for high prices. thanks in advance

It is impossible to get a mob spawner with a mob already set in it. Get a mob spawner, place it, look at it and then do /spawner <mob type> and there you go! Make sure you have permissions to do /spawner.
still can't find it. if nobody replies I may code a plugin for it and release it on bukkit
