Help With Reducing Lag

Yea what he said. Ram is only part of the battle internet speed is the biggie. I would recomend getting a new computer or upgrading internet.

PickerBennyok first off i give minecraft 4gb ram wich is plenty for 10 people. full connection bars, firewall down, and everything else. i log in from another area and bam lag.

One problem might be the computer speed and network speed. If the network is on DSL or anything slower, you are probably going to have lag no matter what. There is a chance the computer is too slow, but most computers are fast enough to handle one person unless you have a bunch of plugins.
