Help with Server Mods?
Alright, lets go back to 1.7.3 and say all the mods work ok?
If I downloaded Equivalent Exchange, and instaled it on my single player Minecraft.jar, obviosly it would work.
But what if I took the same mod and instaled it on my Multiplayer Minecraft.jar?
Would it:
-Work only for me?
-Work for everyone on my server?
-Would Players need to instal E.E. on their multiplayer .jar too for it work on the server?
-Not work at all?

Mods for singleplayer won't work on your server. Plugins are technically "mods" that are put on a server that has bukkit. Go to: http://www.plugins.bukkit.org to find plugins you would like for your server. Note: You need to have downloaded Bukkit for your plugins to work.
well for that you need the multiplayer mod if its made an example is the portal mod
You can't just put a single player mod and put it in the Multiplayer minecraft .jar. You have to get the multiplayer version of that mod ( if the modder even made one) and put that in. Everyone else must install E.E in their minecraft.jar in order to make it work, the mod you placed in the minecraft_server.jar is only running the mod but it needs the icons .class files, gui from the mod minecraft.jar from your client.
So you saying that if everyone instals E.E. normally (single player) then everyone will be able to use and see the things that you would see in Single player right? (IE Ring of destruction, Trade philofers stone, dark matter, ect.)?
You cannot using single player mods online at all. It will do nothing, you need a server plugin (a server 'mod').
