Help with Switching from Vanilla to Bukkit
So I'm running this small server for me and a collection of friends. Originally, I wanted it to be all Vanilla, mostly because I barely even knew what Bukkit was. However, I have been running into some problems. Some of them were fixed with commands (Thanks Azrel!) but some things I'm trying to do require plug-ins. So now, I've been trying to figure out how to switch from Vanilla to Bukkit so I can get anti-griefing/protection, economy and (maybe) teleportation plugins.
However, Google has failed me. Everything I'm finding is how to start a Bukkit server or is a grainy, super-low quality Youtube video from five-or-so years ago.
Can anyone give me a simple walk-through of how to do this or the link to one please? I'll be eternally grateful!
EDIT: I'm running on a Mac, and my server is on the latest version of Minecraft, if that helps.

Thank you! I will certainly look at this. I don't have a Skype, but the installation guide might be enough.
Okay that's cool, this should get you started at least. I do suggest you look into a host company if home hosted. Although playing around with a home host may actually be beneficial. If you need help just send me a message here. checking in daily.

First of all, you can't officially get bukkit anymore. I suggest you look into spigot.
