Hopefully somebody here can help me, I'm struggling getting two texture pack to run after 1.6.1 update.
Firstly the ArkTikALIENS Photo Real Modern HD [512x512] pack, I place it into my resourcepacks folder but when i load the game and go to the texture packs in game this pack don't even show up in the list!
Then theirs the Big Realistic 1.6+ HD 512x512 By Lancer, Now this shows up in my texture pack list in game but when i click on it to try to load nothing happenes, It just stays at the default textures.
Ive tried KoP Photo Realism darkline [512] and this runs flawlessly.
Please help lol.

I mean the folder inside the texture pack
Open up the texture pack and drag in the folder whatever its called
Download the TextureEnder converter-thing that Dinnerbone made and then use it to convert your texture packs into resource packs.

Huh. Didn't know there was a converter for those types of things. Thanks for the help.
Mojang changed texture packs into resource packs (which now hold sound) and changed how to create one, texture packs do NOT work for 1.6, you must acquire resource packs (I'm not sure if the texture packs you use were converted) or just play 1.5.2

It's just some issues with the texture packs itself, I guess, cuz I never tested a texture pack in 1.6. I will try to use one in order to help you
