Heroes expansion help

I'm using heroes expansion and I have kree flesh and when I put in water and fully fill the extractor and then put the injection and kree flesh nothing happens it says my energy is at 0 but I don't know how to fill it up I went into creative and got the HV generator and the lv and I can't do anything with them and I also tried it with lava but it's not working even in JEI it says water and 5000 power anybody knows how I can get the energy in the extractor.
