I know this is a bukkit forum or minecraftforum thing, but I find the PMC community is more helpful and less hostile, whereas I get 0 replies on bukkit or minecraftforum but do get a lot on PMC.
I own a server. I get spammed a lot with useless questions when I join, most of them are not legitimate or have no good answer or are just plain time wasters.
How can I hide the joining and leaving messages? Can this be done without an extra plugin, especially not vanishnopacket? Is this configurable in essentials? My friend owned a little server and could hide them through essentials. I want it to not show anyone joining and leaving, the way they see it is through /list or tab instead, how is this done.

I'm pretty sure Essentials does not have that option, you'll have to add another plugin like HideStream.
