Creating a vanilla minecraft server guide:
Visit the official minecraft download page: https://minecraft.net/download
- In Multiplayer Server, click "..Download Minecraft_server.1.7.5.exe" and download it.
On your desktop (or anywhere suitable), right click & create folder(minecraft).
Drag the downloaded file "Minecraft_server.1.7.5" to the folder(minecraft) you just created.
Double click on "Minecraft_server.1.7.5" and a screen should pop out.
- Let it generate all your minecraft server files & world and then the screen.
Vanilla local server [Important]:
Local/private server: Only players that shares the same internet with you can play on this server.
Go to "Start" button and type "command prompt", then click the icon (Command prompt).
On the black screen, type "ipconfig" and search for IPv4 address ( 192.168.1.10X )
- That is your ip (192.168.1.10X) that you are going to be using to connect to your server.
- Another easy way to connect to your server is by using "localhost" as the ip.
Now run your server by clicking on "Minecraft_server.1.7.5".
Open your minecraft game/client & add in your server.
- Steps: Add Server -- Fill in the IP address with your IP (" 192.168.1.10X ") & connect!
I can't join my server, I want it to be *cracked:
Go to the folder you created (Minecraft).
Right click "server" and edit/open with "notepad"(or any other source code editor).
Find "online-mode=true" and change it to "online-mode=false".
Click "File" and "save" after you've finished configuring it.
Restart your server and you're good to go!
