I cheked Minecraft Launcher today and it states: 'Let's be totally clear, we intend to give you both on PC for one price in 2022! If you still want to buy ethier game, of course just press the "Buy" button - and if you own one on PC already, then we will be giving you the other as a bonus (PC platform only). So that mens that i will get free Minecraft Java Edition/Minecraft Windows Edition for free if i buy the other one?

Offer comes out Summer 2022. If you have Windows Edition, you can get Java Edition. If you have Java Edition, because all of your friends play on console or just have Windows Edition, then yeah, you can also get Windows Edition for free. Java Edition for some people will be the better choice, but Bedrock will be a better choice for other people. Already told my friend about this a few days ago even though he hates Bedrock as a Switch player. Our one friend is a XBOX player and he doesn't wanna do PC gaming, so I told the friend who plays Switch and has played Java before about it and he's considering it. He just needs to get a decent computer for Minecraft and we good, because his computers before sucked.
