How do I add a shaders texture pack

I downloaded a shaders texture pack but when I try to add it in rescource packs it fails, can you help me?

go to your file explorer and find your minecraft data. (it is often at %appdata%) then find .minecraft and then find the folder resource packs. then paste there the shader.
You need to download optifine in order to use shaders. Once you start the game with opfinine installed, it will create a dedicated shaders folder that you put shader packs in.
