How do i make mob farms?

I'm about to start a hardcore series on youtube with my brother, which would be fine, if i knew what the heck i was doing. I need to know how to make mob farms, so that i can surrvive up to getting iron. I'm that bad.

Basic answer search youtube for "minecraft mob farm" or "minecraft X farm" (where X is the name of the mob)
(You may also want to search for a specific resource e.g. "minecraft gunpowder farm")
You then need to check the farm is for java (BR mechanics are often quite different) and will work for the numeric version you're intending to play. (Likely 1.20.n or 1.21 at present.)
If you're looking for recommendations:
First big question: what mob[s]? some mobs have very specific conditions others are more forgiving
Second: how much X do you want? (X is some resource) as example if you want enderpearls just for ender chests and reparing the portal, those produced as a byproduct of an overworld general drop farm or a ghast tear farm are likely sufficient; whereas, if you use ender pearls as a usual means of movement, an Ender-ender may be warranted.
Third: What level of skills and resources do you have? e.g. mob wander farms are much cheaper and require no knowledge of redstone, but are far less efficient than water flush farms
