How do I open a map?
I have a mac computer, and I've been trying to download a map. It takes me to MediaFire, and I've downloaded it. I can see it in finder, but I don't know how to get it into Minecraft. I'm very confused, can someone please help me?

Usually when you download a map file, it will download as a zip file, with a single folder which contains the map files inside it.
In some cases on a mac, instead of the zip file, you end up with the the folder and the map files inside it, but not contained in a single zip file.
In either case, the default location for map saves on a mac is at :
/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/minecraft
The easy way to get there is to just paste this into the Spotlight search window and hit the enter key.
~/Library/Application Support/minecraft
Now all you do is copy the folder from the zip file directly into this folder and when you re-start minecraft, it should appear in the list of saved worlds. Make sure the map you download is for the same version of minecraft that you are using.
