How do u connect to a LAN world?
14
Make sure you both are on the same network. Have one of you click on "Open to LAN" on the pause menu, and hit "Start LAN world"
Then, have whoever ISN'T hosting the server, go into their Multiplayer menu, and scroll down to the bottom. You should see a subtitle saying "Scanning for games on your local network." Under it should be your world. I'm not sure what you were 'typing' into your thing but you don't need to type anything.

Do I need to select "Add server?"

how
Select multiplayer and you should see it. They need to be on the same wifi as you.
Firstly “Open World To LAN” Then the other person need to go into “Multiplayer” and there should be a Option for “Worlds on Your Local Network” -I think that what it says.
By option I mean it should be there under a subtitle
