Hello everyone!

I have a question as I know there are some famous/experienced server admin/owners here. This is my problem:

So now my ip = tinycraft.no-ip.info
But if they go on the internet, they can track my IP.
They can ddos me with this.

(Last time someone skyped with me and was like, Im ddosing you.
And boom, internet gone for 2 hours...

When I try tracking Hypixel.net
It gives me this:
ns1.dnsimple.com
ns2.dnsimple.com and more..

The same at HiveMC:
ns1.dszone.net
ns2.dszone.net

I want the same!

What I would like is a ip like:
Tinycraft.net [Server name is changing soon] + Website Maybe
I have 80+ people on my server on weekends, so I would not like to get ddos'd.
I have no problem with paying 6$ to put my bungee (where theyre connecting to) on a host. Nor do I have any problems with buying a domain name for 10$ a year.

I am trying to get to coding soon and add some awesome custom plugins to this server, so I want a 100% security proof.

Hope you guys can help me!

Thank you,

They use Cloudflare for their website, although that's DDoS protection for websites.
If you want cheap DDoS protection you can use a DDoS protected VPS(like BuyVM, around $50/year for the cheapest package) and either put a GRE tunnel, tcp tunnel or run bungeecord on it. Running bungeecord on your DDoS protected VPS however, will use more resources than a tcp or GRE tunnel would use, as shown as NightWolf105's tests:
NightWolf105Here's my results in testing both BungeeCord in 1 scenario, and a TCPTunnel in the other:
Test 1: Bungeecord
RAM: Roughly 90MB for BungeeCord w/ 10 players online
CPU: Single core provided by BuyVM, used to roughly 80% utilization w/ only 10 people
Test 2: TCPTunnel
RAM: <2MB
CPU: 2%

With either way, it hides your backend server's IP, the server(s) that is running your minecraft server(s). If you want, you can get multiple VPS's, for multiple points of presence, so that people in different locations in the world can connect to a VPS that is closer to them, hence allowing better ping. For example, having a VPS in USA and one in the UK. People near US will connect to the VPS located in the US, while people near the UK area will connect to the second VPS. Doing this instead of one could help those who have to connect to only one VPS, like someone located in the UK, connecting to a VPS in the US, which then redirects to the UK. Helps with the ping a lot, depending on where your server and overall playerbase is located. More information on that DDoS protection on the guide that Chiisana wrote. If you are constantly getting hammered with DDoS's you might want to get actual DDoS protection(not that I'm saying the previous method isn't), which may go up to a few hundred dollars per month.

And about that DDoS that you got from skyping someone. Skype is p2p, meaning that there is no server in between you and the person you are in a call with. With a skype resolver, anyone can easily get the IP of the person who they are in a call with. You can go in the Skype settings and use some proxy to hide your actual IP.
