I have everything that players like: Great Admins, Good Buildings, Entertainment, Freebuild, ect but people dont go onto the server very often. How do i get more people on my server?

advertisment never hurts... if you want it to be succeful i reccomend putting a little invesment into it
Well, Planetminecraft doesn't get as much traffic as other sites, so I reccomend posting it on other sites like: http://www.minecraftforum.net/.

I have done this myself , but subscribe to some BIG youtubers , and as soon as they upload a video , post a comment telling people about the server , i had around 3 or 4 people doing this for me , and after it i got about 20 people on that will say they will stay.
P.S Do remember , from this you are more likely to get haters/griefers , so dont be weak on banning people!!!

Having a partner server doesnt hurt. They can help you advertise. I've noticed that alot of big servers have a few different servers that pretty much belong to them.
By the way this is only a premium only server so we can cut down on those annoying 10 year old greifers. *bump*

A good way to promote your server is by running a promotion. Everyone that brings a friend get diamonds, or something like that. From then on it spreads like wildfire. A player will bring along a friend, who in turn will bring along more friends. Persistence is the key when it comes to running a server.

I don't understand either some servers have a really good staff and the owner welcomes everyone but still theylay in more popular servers where the admins are not good

You can use youtube for easy advertisement and also look into minestatus's sponsored area and try to get on there

it is a 4GB server and all the admins pay for it so it is like 10 dollars per person so we really don't have to worry abut the costs.

Why do ppl keep asking for admin when the owner doesn't even trust them. The person who could be asking for admin is a troll and he will abuse his powers. I hate ppl who keep asking for admin cause i have been through lots of ppl like that

Our server is hosted by daddycheese and it costs about 40 dollars a month plus we have like 6 admins and mods so its less than 10 dollars
