How to get more players on my server? I need a banner person
Looking for someone willing to make an animated banner for me. I can't pay but i can work something out with you if you can make me one!
Well, I have had a server for about a week now and it just doesn't have alot of players on at all. Normally about 1-3 players on average. And i do have a banner(It's an ok one) but it doesn't seem to attract the human eye as much. It's like all other faction servers but without the players.
I try to get a lot of players on, i have posted the server on about 3 websites at the moment but it just never fills up. I am going to have regular drop parties but the only people that get on are my staff and a regular player. It's no use in having a server without any players. Is there anyway you guys can help me out in getting my server popular? All i ever wanted was at least 5-15 players on. So if you have any small tips please comment them.

Eh.. I don't know how to do that. I use GGServers, so i don't know if i can or not.
You can use a domain with any server, just point an A record or SRV record to your server's IP. Host doesn't matter.

Most importantly, make your server unique. Make it have something that other servers don't have. Just be creative. Let your server be about nothing else but the players.

tell people that first 20 people that join join will get a rank. do something like that.
