How to Get Shaders? Step By Step Please
So here's the problem I am at, I can't get any shaders! I have done everything the videos told me to do to get them.
Here is what I did:
1.) I restarted my Minecraft,
2.) Then, I got the "ShadersModCore-v2.3.12" and placed this in my mods folder,
3.) I then had the "shaderpacks" folder and I got a Shaders called "Slidurs Vibrant sharders 1.03",
4.) Finally, proceeded onto going to Minecraft, tried to go into a server, and it just starts blinking rapidly!
I am not sure what I did wrong (I probably forgot something), but all feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks,
-G
P.S Sorry if I posted in the wrong area, I am kinda a n00b in the forums...

Easier version:Go on (Ad link removed), look up Shaders Mod 1.7. what ever version, and download the installer, and install it.Easy.
Is forge installed? Have you installed any other mods before? Did you change your version to the forge version? If not: Edit profile > Version > Forge (should be at the bottom) hope this helps, if you have any other problems tell me!
I use the version of it, but I don't use the FORGE profile, but it still is forge 1.7.2
If you haven't installed forge yet, Google "Forge [version of your mod]". Go to the site, download it, launch it, put shaders in the mods folder, then do the steps above
Shaders sometimes don't work. I had SEUS once on my old computer, and it just showed me a little white box, and I installed it the exact way on my new laptop and it works well. Sometimes shaders don't work on the type of computer you are playing, or sometimes it is the shaders itself.
What type of computer did you have previously before that, it depends...
I'm not actually sure if this would/could happen, but do you own a computer with a decent graphics card? If not, the mod might already be installed, but the shaders might look all glitchy. I'm talking from my own experiences, but maybe I installed the mod incorrectly at the time. Either way though, good luck!
I have a great graphics card, but I don't know how that would be possible, that it was already installed, it just plainly looks like the regular Minecraft.

No kidding, but I really tried, and spent two hours yesterday trying to figure this out.
If it just flickers it means your video card does not support the shaders. You can try looking for a driver update (it might help).
What video card do you have?
different shader packs require different graphics cards and such. download forge, let it install, run the game with forge at least 1ce, download the correct shader's mod file for your version, put it in your .minecraft's mods folder that generates with forge. start it up, and put the shaderpack into the shaderpack folder located in .minecraft.
