How to grow your minecraft server

Most people start servers to earn money... why? If your over 16 starting a server... just get a job and make the server so you can play and have fun, not just to make money. If your not old enough to get a job, starting a server to get some cash is fine. (all my opion)

Here we go.

1. Choose a new gamemode style.
- Have some original. Something new, People LOVE new
- (No Offence) but to all you new server owners out there... dont make a factions server. Theres just to many...
- Unless you have like custom plugins like, if you get a 5 kill streak you get a diamond you can trade.... bla bla bla (etc.)

2. Look Professional
- First of all, this is where some servers shut down (the money servers) have a clean website, or atleast have a decent
- website. Like if some1 asked where to donate they said their paypal email... thats unproffessional. If you cant make a
- decent website at least have one.
- Have a good spawn. its the first thing people actually see when they join.
- Add like milestones, for example after playing 1 full hour on the server they get member rank or whatever.
- Add challenges, for example after playing 1 full hour straight without logging out they get 16 diamonds and member+
- rank

3. Have a good name. Personally the suffix "Craft" on your server is getting annoying...
PonyCraft, Brandoncraft, MelonCraft, bla bla bla it goes on and on

- Try putting the suffix "MC" after it sounds good but not used as much as craft.
- the best way is to have something original like OmegaRealm or TheNexus or TheArchon.
