OK, its bin a weak now, and no change at all, I wish someone would just at least tell me if something is wrong, something I can change about the pack so someone can give it a look over...

Actually, was watching a tutorial on how to do custom mob models, and he uses the vanilla resource pack as a template, and in it he ends it saying "if your going to upload it, don't leave any texture you did not change/add." I was using a vanilla template and "didn't" remove the stuff i didn't add, not that i forgot, just that all but one of my items uses the default texture pack for there texture. could this be why it has yet to be green lit?

I think its bin 5 days now... may be that my pack needs optifine to work, uses 3D models, and needs you to rename an item to see the custom 3D model and texture... would that make the process take longer?

takes as long as it takes, depends what site mods are around doing greenlights, anywhere from a few hours, to days, but it should be done within a week of it being posted. you just gotta be patient
