How to make default able to break blocks?

To make default users break blocks you have to have the 2 plugins Essentials and Group Manager - in group manager/worlds/world/groups there should be a rank called default and if you scroll down to where it says info you will see build false chance false to true and there you go.

are u using pex or groupmanager? if pex you give them "modifyworld.*" this will allow them to break blocks anywhere except safezones.
